Scent Notes: Fresh-picked apple and garden sage

Capitol Reef doesn’t get the attention like Zion or Arches National Park, but it’s one of my favorite parks. In the middle of the park lies Fruita, an old settlement where early pioneers planted hundreds of fruit trees to survive. Many years later, the Park Service still maintains these orchards, and I’ve loved walking through the apple and apricot trees and picking their fruit. It’s such an unexpected thing to do in the middle of red rock country.

This Fruita Harvest soap is inspired by these orchards, offering a crisp, comforting scent of a fresh-picked apple and the earthy aroma of garden sage. It’s the scent of a fall day in canyon country. It’s clean, cozy, and reminds me that there’s always room for a little sweetness even in the most rugged landscapes.
